True Love of Homegrown Tomatoes

Picked the first of our tomatoes yesterday (well - we have been snaking a few here and there for the past week or so). So sweet and tangy - and a taste that is truly summer. Stock is super limited right now but very soon we will have loads of these little guys and slicers too - our new greenhouse is FULL of plants.

It's Peak Summer eating  at the Cookeville Market this week - fresh greens,  peas, radishes, cucumbers, broccolini, baby zucchini, cauliflower. fresh garlic, basil, onions and our very first tomatoes! Don't forget treats from Marilyn, local cheese and farm-raised meats. .So many reasons to come on down to the Cookeville Market!

Join us at the farm every summer Saturday with farm to table pizza, salads and desserts. This week the Pillsbury Slow Boys return - A Pizza Night favorite, they play harp driven blues in the style of Little Walter and Sunny Boy Williamson.  Sure to be another lovely evening on the farm.

Call the farm at the number below or email me with "Pizza Night" in the subject line.Pizza starts at 5pm and music at 6pm.
