Rolling Up Our Sleeves
April is crazy. It might be snowing outside when it’s supposed to be a “nice” day but we are potting up tomatoes, starting (so many) seedlings, transplanting baby plants to our high tunnels, prepping for the arrival of baby chicks, working on tractors and equipment that have been sitting all winter and preparing pasture and fences for the arrival of green grass so the animals can head out of the barn and out to pasture.
We have our own baby lettuce mix and spinach. We are also stocked with carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, cabbages, garlic, potatoes, onions, and Long Wind tomatoes. As always, we have a full selection of our pastured meats, eggs, local milk, yogurt and cheeses plus goodies galore from Marilyn's Kitchen.
FRIDAY IS BURGER NIGHT! Stop by between 5 and 6:30 and grab a farm raised burger with all the fixings. A delicious and easy dinner to take home or eat outside —it's going to be warm out!
