Getting Back to our Roots

It’s a root week around here. We will be taking advantage of the gorgeous weather and pulling all of our winter storage root crops. The carrots, beets and celeriac will all be dug, cleaned in our trusty old root washer and then stored away for delicious winter eating.

The Cookeville Market will be stocked with: spinach, arugula, lettuce, kale, rainbow chard, scallions, broccolini, cabbages, carrots, beets, radishes, potatoes and sweet potatoes, pumpkins, butternut squash, brussel sprouts, onions, shallots, leeks, celery, apples, apple cider and more!

As always, we have a full selection of our pastured meats and eggs, local milk, yogurt and cheeses, plus plenty of goodies from Marilyn's Kitchen. Freshly baked bread is now available on Thursday late morning, Friday afternoons and on Saturday mornings. Our new freshly baked focaccia comes out on Saturday mornings!

FRIDAY NIGHT TAKE OUT continues with Burritto Night! Your Choice of Burriito or Loaded Nachos served with all the fixings. Serving from 5 till 6:30 PM.

We are now taking reservations for THANKSGIVING TURKEYS! Reserve yours today by stopping by the market or responding to this email. These will be fresh birds and pick up is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
