Smores, Sparklers and Strawberries

Celebrate the 4th and all things summer this Saturday with farm to table pizza, salads and desserts  and live music from Otter Creek - Rolicking Burlington Based Bluegrass with a Vermont twist.

For those of you who remember the early days of pizza night we will be doing smores in the pizza oven at the end of the night and will have sparklers for the young and young at heart. And, of course, Wendell will be making strawberry shortcake!

Call the farm at the number below or email me with "Pizza Night" in the subject line. Pizza starts at 5pm and music at 6pm.

Speaking of strawberries - we put in a small field of berries this spring and look what I found yesterday! We will begin a regular harvest in a week or so (the first year starts a little late) but in the meantime, we will have Pierson’s berries this week - grab some while they last!

At the Cookeville Market this week - fresh greens, PEAS!,  radishes, farm grown cucumbers, cauliflower, broccolini, baby zucchini, basil, tomatoes, treats from Marilyn, local cheese and farm-raised meats. So many reasons to come on down to the Cookeville Market!

We have regular hours all week - Wednesday - Friday 8:30 till 6 and Saturday 8:30 till 3.
