Moving into the Green….
There is a hint of green on the fields, things are starting to dry out and the greenhouse greens are getting bigger everyday - we even moved outside last week (in between the snow showers) and planted peas and the caterpillar tunnels with more greens. Big shout out to Nick and Cora for manifesting spring despite the slow and nasty start. It looks like it’s working - there are some gorgeous days in store for us this week!
The market will be restocked with the last of our storage carrots (we already planted more in a greenhouse so we should have more in June!), celeriac, sweet potatoes, red and white potatoes, cabbages, spinach, baby kale, local lettuce, spring dug parsnips, a full selection of our pastured meats, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs.
If you need some treats for your Easter celebration we will be stocked with organic jelly beans and local chocolate and you can pre-order one of our smoked hams or a pie or sweet rolls from Marilyn before Thursday at the store. Pick up will be on Saturday.
It snowed last week so we are hosting the easter basket planting again - Saturday morning from 10-12 we will be hosting a plant your own easter grass activity for the little ones - we will provide soil, a basket and the seed to grow your very own easter grass right in your kitchen.
Market Hours: Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 a.m till 3pm
