We are going along here at the farm acting like it's fall. We have been harvesting winter squash, potatoes and onions. However, we are also in the midst of our second (or maybe our first? ) dog days of summer. Even the green beans joined in - these guys were touched by frost at the beginning of the month and we thought they were goners. Not so - a few days of 80 degree weather and we are back in business! Go figure. At least we have fresh beans in late September!
