This Friday the farm stand will be packed with greens of all shapes, sizes and flavors including Italian dandelion greens, napa cabbage, and bib lettuce. ...other flavors of early summer include asparagus from Green Reaper Farm and cheeses from Blythedale Farm. Come by and stock up on some of the ingredients for the salad recipes below!
Fresh wood-fired pizza from 5 - 7:30. Take it home or stay and listen to live music provided by Tom Masterson. We have tents and the event is rain or shine! Where else can you order a pizza with dandelion greens and local sausage?

Cookeville Grana from Blythedale Farm!
All of these greens means we need to take a break from the ordinary tossed salad. Some ideas are:
Sliced radishes, head lettuce and shaved Cookeville Grana tossed with a little salt and olive oil. The Grana and radishes really highlight each other!
Chopped dandelion greens tossed with a dressing made of 2 canned anchovies, two cloves of crushed garlic, two tablespoons lemon juice, three tablespoons olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
