Stirring things up.....
New crops are coming in right now - we have our earliest cabbages and peas and some fennel to spice things up. We also have a special treat this week! Folks will get a bonus sample of forest-cultivated Shiitake Mushroom from CotWinkle Acres Forest Farm in Newbury, VT. Try them out and if you like them you have the option of adding a 10 week mushroom share (delivered in your Crossmolina Share) for $50. We will also be selling the mushrooms at the farm stand for $6.00 a pint.
Mckenna was inspired by the way many of the items in this week's basket work together for stirfry and has cooked up a special Crossmolina Recipe for you all- look for it on the back of the veggie list that comes in your basket.
