Not your Grandmother's Turnips


It's time to re-think turnips. These crisp, slightly spicy little globes aren't just for soups and stews! and they don't have to be mushy ! Try them in a green salad, stir fry them with your favorite Asian green, pair them with radishes and use them instead of cabbage in a slaw...

This week the farm stand will have lots to stir fry with - including turnips! We will also have lettuces, peas, fresh bread, Blythedale cheese and more!

Pizza night is looking less rainy than usual but we will still have our tents up! We are welcoming Ted Mortimer and Dave Richard this week as our musicians and will be celebrating the very first basil and zucchini of the season as some of our fabulous pizza toppings(summer squash should hit the CSA and farm stand next week).

Join us after 5 for pizza. Music starts at 6. Take home or stay and eat here!
